Greeting from Changsha, mianland of China! I am Celia, the match manager of DTD7.0 @Changsha. I am very glad to let you know our project whose theme is about supporting education & culture exploration Free food and accommodation is partly provided(cost less) and the details is in the attachment. Our project will last about 34 days from 14th July to 16th August. From 14th July to 20th July, for all volunteers(LVs and EPs), there will be a training for teaching in school, doing the expectation setting and will inform you what need paying attention to, in the meantime, you can adapt yourself to local situation(the weather, food and so on) From 21st July to 23rd July, eps will go to Guangzhou(voluntary participation) by train for a conference which is held for all trainees in east coastal cities in order to help interns set expectations and have a better exchange experience. There is also one day left for a city tour in Guangzhou. From 24th July to 6th August, you will get involved in supporting teaching in a rural school. You are supposed to share your country’s unique culture and teaching Junior High school students interesting knowledge which will raise their curiosity. (We prefer interesting methods of teaching, for example, showing well-selected videos is ok). Free food and accommodation will be provided by the school during the supporting education. From 7th August to 10th August, we will take a break. In these days, we will visit the Confucian temple and also enjoy mountain climbing, drifting, barbecue and so on. From 11th August to 16th August is culture exploration. Volunteers will live in the host family to enjoy local people’s live. A lot of activities such as visiting the museums and country communication will be hold at the same time.
